DAL FRY GIRL

Hi there folks. My name is Binu Ashish & I am a homemaker (my husband tends to term it as a housewife). I am a native of Kerala and post marriage I have relocated to Hyderabad where my husband has been working for God only knows since when. During my pre-marital days, I was all about getting a job & cooking was the last thing in my head. The only thing that I did know to cook was a simple dal curry & rice to go with it. However post marriage everything went for a toss. My new location didn't serve me up with any jobs and if that was not frustrating enough, turns out my hubby happened to be a big fan of gluttony. Me with my only dal rice combo felt like one of those deer that is caught in the oncoming headlights of a car – dazed and confused.

It was around these times that with oodles of idle time on my hands that I decided to try a serious hand in cooking. Casually Cooking with Binu just like its name is a casual catalogue of all the dishes that I have tried out since then. As with all experiments some of mine too flopped miserably, however some of them did come out okay I would say. And all these with a little nudge from my mom & sister, a truckload of cookery books, channels and a gluttonous husband.
